WATER TREATMENT PROCESS ENGINEER
Due to strong demand, Alliance Water Solutions have a position available for a person, capable of:
- Designing and estimating complete water treatment packages in the industrial and municipal markets
- Extensive experience within the industry with a special emphasis on Black and Grey Water
- Applicant must have strong CAD experience
This is an internal position and is based on the Sunshine Coast.

Irrigation
Alliance Water Solutions has done many irrigation projects over the years across all facets of irrigation and to this day we continue to be one of the leading irrigation companies in Queensland. Because we do from the pumps to the irrigation we can size the "right" pump to the correctly sized area to be irrigated. Far too often end users are left with a system where the pump is to small for the amount of irrigated area. This is because one company does the pump, another company does the irrigation.
Alliance Water Solutions works with some of the leading landscapers as a team to ensure the landscaping goes in with the irrigation smoothly so the end user is assured the irrigation will be on to keep the plants alive.
Alliance Water Solutions is a leading company in the use of DRIP Irrigation in landscape irrigation, particularly in subterranean which is where most other companies come unstuck. Subterranean Drip Irrigation is an excellent form of irrigation as the system has minimal problems from vandalism and uses the least amount of water of any form of irrigation. However, Design of these systems is critical as the margin for error is minimal. You must have great filtration and a hydraulically correct design as Friction Loss and SDR calculations are critical to the overall success of the system. You also need to take into account the soil types and quality of the water as part of the total design.
Another major part of our irrigation division is the Water Re-Use or Effluent Dispersal. On major projects effluent dispersal may be done through Pivot irrigation systems these are an excellent way of delivering irrigation to a broad area. A new trend we are seeing is the use of Treatment Plants to treat Black and Grey water from office/unit complexes to treat the water and send it to the irrigation of the surrounding gardens. This is brought about by the advent of the "Greenstar Rated" buildings. Alliance Water Solutions builds the entire treatment package for these buildings and the irrigation is part of that total package.
